All it took was one experience to open our eyes to what it feels like to have no power. No power to right a wrong, No power to finish what you started, being passed by because you're not important. No voice to change it. This experience reminded us of whats happening in schools right now. Music and art programs are being passed by as non essential. Funding is being cut. Silencing people who just want to create, who want to tell their stories in a positive way. That's how we are righting our wrong. Kiss My Pass was created to help heal those that have been passed by.
Spicy Pie is a pizza company that is fortunate to travel the United States selling Pizza, Fresh squeezed lemonade, cookie pie, fair trade organic coffee and breakfast items at large outdoor music events. We started our company in Burlington, VT and now we live in Oceanside, CA. Growing up in small Vermont towns, decades ago we never had to think about situations that are occurring now in schools and after school programs.
Kiss My Pass will be donating money to groups that promote positive expression. Music, art, athletic, anti-bullying and self esteem groups whose funding has been reduced or cut. This will happen in the communities where we will be selling pizza. Take a look at our events page and see if Spicy Pie is coming to a community near you and email your program's information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
